HEALTH TIP #2:  Wash your hands often to prevent illness!

In order to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others, washing
your hands is very important.  Many diseases and conditions are spread because of lack of hand-washing.  This video details the results of neglecting to wash your hands frequently.  Plain soap and water will take care of almost 80% of all disease spread by not washing the hands!

When should you wash your hands?

  • After going to the toilet.
  • After handling pets, pet foods or treats, or animal waste.
  • After taking out the garbage.
  • After rubbing your eyes.
  • After changing a diaper.
  • After working in the dirt.
  • Before and after performing first-aid on a wound.
  • Before, during and after preparing a meal.
  • Before and after caring for someone who is sick.
  • Before eating.

those with health issues.  This is why it is so important to boost your

immune response to it.

without first consulting your physician.

HEALTH TIP #1:  Decrease your sugar intake!

Did you know that God designed your body to fight off infection through your immune system?  The most important part of your immune system is the white blood cell system.  Although your white blood cells account for only about 1 percent of your blood, their impact is significant. White blood cells are essential for good health and for protection against illness and disease.

Think of your white blood cells as your immune system army.  They are continually at war.  They flow through your bloodstream to battle bacteria, viruses, and other nasty foreign invaders that threaten your health. When your body is in distress and a particular area is under attack, white blood cells rush in to help destroy the harmful invader and prevent illness.

If you don't take care of your immune system, illness and disease will be the result.  One way to take care of your immune system is to decrease your sugar intake.  Sugar impairs your white blood cells from doing the job they were meant to do.  As little as 3.5 ounces of sugar can zap your immune system by 50% in just a few hours. Your daily sugar intake should be no more than 6 tsp. of added sugar daily.  The average  American eats 19 tsp. daily.  No wonder we are all sick!  Get rid of that sweet tooth!
